How it works

Three steps, every five minutes

No tick scalping, no latency tricks, no high-frequency trading. Gold EA Pulse checks for a signal once per closed bar, so results are steady across brokers and easy to backtest.

01 — READ

Detect the pulse

The signal engine scans each new M5 gold bar for a momentum pulse at the sensitivity you choose, on the signal timeframe you choose.

02 — ENTER

Early or confirmed

Mode A enters as soon as the pulse appears. Mode B waits for confirmation. Spread, margin, news and session filters must all pass first.

03 — MANAGE

Protect and exit

Breakeven after 150 points locks in 50. Optional trailing stop. Winners close when the signal flips, and loss limits guard the whole account.

Features

Everything a gold trading robot should have, nothing it shouldn't

Two entry modes

Mode A enters early on a fresh signal. Mode B waits for confirmation. Pick the one that fits your risk appetite.

Tunable signal engine

Adjust signal sensitivity and choose the signal timeframe without touching any code.

Flexible SL and TP

Optional stop loss and take profit, set in points or as a multiple of current volatility.

Breakeven and trailing

By default the stop moves to breakeven after 150 points and locks in 50. Trailing start, distance and step are adjustable.

Opposite-signal exit

Close winning trades when the signal flips, or close every trade on an opposite signal.

Smart lot sizing

Trade a fixed lot or let the EA size each position from a risk percentage of your balance.

Prop firm protection

Daily loss and max drawdown limits that close all EA trades the moment a limit is hit.

News and time filters

Economic-calendar news filter on MT5, trading hours and days on MT4, plus Friday and daily close times.

On-chart info panel

See status, live drawdown, upcoming news and the exact reason any entry was blocked.

FAQ

Gold EA questions, answered

What is Gold EA Pulse?

Gold EA Pulse is a fully automated Expert Advisor (trading robot) for MetaTrader 5 and MetaTrader 4 that trades XAUUSD (gold). It uses a proprietary signal engine with two entry modes, holds one position at a time by default and includes prop-firm-style daily loss and maximum drawdown protection.

Does Gold EA Pulse use martingale or grid?

No. Gold EA Pulse does not use martingale, grid or averaging. It opens one position at a time by default and never adds to a losing trade.

Which timeframe and symbol should I use?

Attach the EA to an XAUUSD (gold) chart on the M5 timeframe. A raw or low-spread account is recommended.

What is the minimum deposit?

The recommended minimum is 200 USD with 1:100 leverage or higher, trading 0.01 lot. Use a stop loss on small accounts.

Can I use Gold EA Pulse for a prop firm challenge?

Yes. It has built-in daily loss and maximum drawdown limits, a news filter on MT5, Friday close and maximum spread filters. A common setup is a 4% daily limit for a 5% firm rule and an 8% max drawdown for a 10% firm rule. Always check your firm's current rules on third-party EAs first.

Is there a stop loss by default?

No fixed stop loss or take profit is set by default, so losing trades can stay open until they recover, which can lead to larger floating losses. Turn on Use Stop Loss for prop firm challenges and small accounts.

What is the difference between the MT5 and MT4 versions?

Both use the same signal engine and risk controls. The MT5 version adds a news filter based on the built-in MT5 Economic Calendar and works on hedging and netting accounts. The MT4 version uses trading-hours and trading-days filters to avoid news.
